Good news on the job front, however, is that there are lots of empty jobs, as older people are retiring early rather than risk their health. After being locked down for nearly a year, they realized they needed a lot less money to live comfortably than they thought they did. Many essential workers are moving into less-essential roles where they can work from home and not be screwed by the system. Find a better job. Now is the best time to do so.
