And he was actually talking to his constituents, telling them that personal attacks on the other side of the aisle was not right. And that while they could object to someone’s policies, they should always remember that the people were doing their best to represent what they thought their constituents wanted. Really, it was great to see that some level of government still believed in a unified service to the people, as opposed to the craziness of our national government. But I suppose it’s because state lawmakers are part-timers, working 3 months out of the year, and having a “real job” the rest of the time.
